Its professional focus is shaped by first-hand experience gained in complex international business environments, particularly in Zurich, Sydney, and Singapore. The Centre serves government security agencies, large corporate organisations, and export-oriented companies. Director of the Center

Dr. Blaz Ivanc is an European security leader with extensive experience across major international banking groups, most recently serving as Group CISO of the NLB Group. He was also cyber technology lead on European Commission critical infrastructure security projects. Blaž is a frequent keynote speaker at international events, including Hack Sydney and the NATO Advanced Research Workshop. He has presented his work at leading scientific and technology centers worldwide. For his contribution in the field of cyberattack modeling, published in a Springer publication, he received the Best Paper Award at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, an institution that belongs to the so-called ‘Seven Sons of China’s National Defense'.
He also served as the professional lead of the first international scientific conference on intelligence and security informatics, held in 2013.
